Abstract

This article presents an advanced automation system for teaching and research at the National Engineering School of Carthage (ENICarthage), Tunisia. The system hardware, software and applications include simulation functionality, which can be used in the study and the analysis of the process. This paper describes the implementation of the Festo Didactic system for basic and advanced training. The goal of the system is to support existing production structures within industries and optimize resource usage through augmented production and planning strategies, such as those used in the automotive and food processing industries.
